Lindsey Schroeder

Lindsey is thrilled to be back in Charlotte, NC after completing 3 years performing at sea with Carnival Cruise Line. Lindsey is an Evansville, Indiana native, who grew up performing on stage. After finding her love for voice, piano, dance, and theatre in high school, she made the big move to Nashville to earn her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre at Belmont University. She has since traveled around the world performing leading roles in professional equity theatres, operas, tv series, theme parks (Carowinds!), cruise ships, and casinos. Her favorite past roles include: Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Maria in West Side Story, Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, and Rizzo in Grease.  

In between contracts, Lindsey taught private lessons, as well as a number of group classes.  In 2015, she took a break from performing and moved back to her hometown to open her own performing arts studio – The Schroeder Studio. Lindsey privately worked with over 50 students a week, as well as choreographed for local high schools and show choirs in the area. After two years of successfully training students in Indiana, she felt called back to the Queen City.

Now, Lindsey enjoys creating an upbeat, and encouraging atmosphere for students to learn music. She also performs locally. With over 20 years of piano experience and performing on stage, Lindsey is sure to offer your student exactly what he or she desires. Her competitive resume and variety of styles makes her a great match for anyone looking to discover music. Beyond her resume, Lindsey’s outgoing personality and love for kids gives her the excitement to share all that the Lord has blessed her with over the years.
